The Night Prowler Band is five guyz who love to play music together !
Frank: Night Prowler was founded in April of 2007 by Guitarist Frank Piliero, who wanted to start a band that had the vision to play songs from every era so that everyone, no matter the age, can enjoy a Night prowler Show. frank@nightprowlerband.com
He began the search for the right people to make the vision a reality…
Russ: He was introduced to Guitarist extraordinaire Russ "The Admiral" Albano by a mutual friend. Frank & Russ immediately hit it off and compliment each other superbly. Yes they argue over the occasional D-minor chord (lol) but they really do make each other better. Russ is a native of South Jersey, who has played Guitar since he was old enough to walk. He is one of the best, if not the best Guitarist from this area. His leads are dead on and his style is amazing, not to mention the sweet sound of his voice.
Chris: When they needed a bass player, they quickly turned to Russ's cousin Chris Passanante. Chris might be young but his playing is dead on and his music ability is endless. Chris plays with the soul of Buddy Guy as well as the elegance of John Paul Jones. He is also a wiz kid of a studio Engineer, who collaborates with numerous local bands. Bob: Bob "Kong" King on drums, joined us in October 2008. Steady, in the pocket, solid, cute as a button are just a few words that decribe King Kong, well everthing except the cute as a button part (lol, I was just making sure you all were paying attention lol). Bob's Favorite drummer is Carl Palmer and you can hear that influence in his steady rock beats. His electronic drums mimic each classic rock cover perfectly and his sence of humor is a welcome additon to this group of misfits (lol)
Mark: Last but not least is our lead singer Mark Matthews. What can I say about Mark. He has a amazing range, stays in tune and on key ALWAYS! A quick learner of songs, who brings exact vocals to this solid Lineup. He is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. He would give you the shirt off his back. We were lucky enough to have Mark join us from another band. He and Russ played together in "The Free Beer Band" and the still do play a few gigs a year with them. mark@nightprowlerband.com
